May 18 - let the summer begin!

As a fun way to kick off the summer, I suppose, Danny, Elena, and her boys came over to my apartment's pool for a fun afternoon of swimming since the city pool was closed for cleaning at the time.  It was a bit different having kids at a pool generally only used by skinny tan college students, but it was pretty fun.  It was esp. funny when Elena's oldest, looking at some bikini-clad sunbathers and coming from a fairly pale family, commented, "Mom, I think they stayed out in the sun too much. Look how dark they are!" lol.  so much for that aspiring golden tan they were trying to acheive, haha.
