These are the models of what my cardboard chair (hopefully) will look like when it's done. It's a chair with a removable seat. With the seat removed, the base can be flipped over to make a small desk and stool. Hopefully it'll actually work when it's finished. You can see the beginnings of it in the background and in the fourth picture (you can also see my bottle of glue - a one gallon jug of glue!)... the last picture is of my studio completely drowning in a sea of junk cardboard for all of our chairs. It's starting to flow over the floor too, so you have to watch your step and make sure you don't step on someone's project. Side note: we're allowed to draw/doodle/paint on the walls, but no one in my class has yet. All that's on the walls at the moment are from earlier semesters... and some of it is really weird... like the quote "the pink fluffy dragons are coming!" or the several swastikas in random places... kind of creepy. Maybe someone will paint over those soon.
So, I have a lot of work to do to finish my chair. I'll post pictures of the finished chair once it's done. My other classes haven't really had any great "let's take a picture to show everyone" type projects in a while. Perhaps later.
